It is COMPULSORY to bring a head torch/flashlight, enclosed footwear that’s suitable for hiking the distance, weather proof jacket, snacks, minimum 2L of water and a mobile device.

Some participants will decide to challenge themselves further by trekking with weighted packs and vests, webbing and/or carry torsion bars. We strongly encourage you to read our "Fitness Considerations" section to gain insight if this is an appropriate decision for yourself.

Trek4Vets advise all participants not to drive post the trek and to arrange alternative transport home.

WAIVER & RELEASE

We are aware that physical exercise can be strenuous and participants risk serious injury, we therefore urge you to undertake a physical examination with your doctor prior to using any exercise equipment or participating in any exercise activity.

You agree that by participating in the T4Vs Midnight to Dawn Trek, you do so entirely at your own risk.
You agree that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and use of these facilities and premises and assume all risks of injury, illness, or death. We are also not responsible for any loss of your personal property.
You agree that you are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit your participation in this exercise program
You acknowledge that you have carefully read this “waiver and release” and fully understand that it is a release of liability.
You acknowledge that this waiver is applicable at all Trek4Vets locations and any other venues where activities are undertaken with Trek4Vets Ltd.
You expressly agree to release and discharge Trek4Vets Ltd, the crew and/or instructors from any claims, demands, and causes of action as a result of your voluntary participation in Trek4Vets Midnight to Dawn Trek, to the extent permitted by law.
You fully understand that you may injure yourself as a result of your participation in the Midnight to Dawn Trek and hereby release, Trek4Vets Ltd the crew and/or instructors from any liability now or in the future for conditions that you may obtain directly or indirectly from participating, to the fullest extent permitted by law. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, heart attacks, muscle strains, muscle pulls, muscle tears, broken bones, shin splints, heat prostration, injuries to knees, back, shoulders, hips, feet, wrists, elbows or any other illness or soreness that may incur, including death.

To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence.

If any portion of this release from liability shall be deemed by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then the remainder of this release from liability shall remain in full force and effect and the offending provision or provisions severed here from.
