1. Where does the funds raised go to?
All funds raised through March4Rememberance are donated to Mates4Mates. Mates4Mates supports current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members who have physical or psychological injuries as a result of their service, and their families. 2. How do you raise funds for Mates4Mates?
We charge a ticket price to participate in March4Rememberance. After the cost for your shirt and insurance is deducted we donate the remainder to the charity we are supporting. We also sell merchandise at a profit so a donation can be made after costs are covered.
3. What should I bring?
It is compulsory to bring water & if you get hungry some snacks would be a good idea. If the weather is sunny please bring a hat and sunscreen.
4. How do we get to the starting point at Woy Woy?
Please make your own way to the reserve on The Boulevard, Woy Woy (across from Woy Woy Wharf)
5. What do I do if I have lost my eTicket?
If you have deleted your eTicket, please log in to your Trek4Vets account to retrieve a copy. If your bank account has not been charged, you are not
entered into the event.
6. I do not regularly train, can I still participate?
Yes! This is a family friendly walk and is suitable for anyone who is able to walk on a flat concrete path for 8.5km. There is further information regarding the march on the ‘DETAILS’ page of this website
7. Can I bring friends or family to register on the day?
Yes, however all registrations will be online. To save time please complete before the walk or we can walk you through it on the morning of the event via
your phone (don’t forget your credit card)
8. Can the event be cancelled?
If the event organisers deem the evening to unsafe due to unexpected weather conditions we may find an alternative route. Only an Extreme Weather event will mean the organisers will cancel the event. Organisers also reserve the right to cancel the event for any other reason which may include but is not limited to terrorism or war. If the event is cancelled, re-routed or shortened, no refund of registration fees, fundraising monies or transfer to another event will be made.
9. What if I injure myself along the march?
Trek4Vets crew will contact your emergency contact to collect you so they can assist you with seeking medical assistance. Please note that you partake in this event at your own risk.
10. What should I do if I can no longer take part in the event?
Unfortunately, tickets are not refundable or transferable if you are no longer
able to participate.
